Dialing schedule determines when outbound calls are made based on predefined rules. This ensures compliance with time zone regulations, optimizes agent availability, and improves campaign efficiency.
Time Zone-Based Dialing
Dialer.io is configured to prioritize the lead's state value, if available, and otherwise relies on the lead's phone number area code to determine the time zone when calls can be made.
Default dialing hours are 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM based on the lead's local time, not the agent’s time zone.
State Dialing Rules
Dialer.io allows businesses to define state-specific dialing rules to comply with local regulations.
Calls can be restricted based on state laws governing telemarketing hours.
The system automatically adjusts dialing behavior based on these rules.
For U.S. leads, the state must be uploaded as the full name (e.g., North Carolina). Any other format will be deemed incorrect, and the phone number's area code will be used instead.
If you need to adjust your campaign's dialing schedule or add a State Dialing rule e.g. to prohibit outbound calls on Sundays or public holidays, please contact our Support team.
